    Default Stoeger Condor

I recently picked up a used Stoeger Condor 20 gauge. The other day I noticed when I picked up the gun it sounded like somehting was moving internally. I took it apart and found what was moving. See attached pic.
The rod indicated slides front and back as you tip the gun up and down.
Is this normal? Is the gun safe to shoot?

Would that be the firing pin? Can't tell by the pic what the location/orientation of it is but sometimes when decocked guns can do this.

    ETA: Found this:

From the forum link that I posted it seems to be common and a non issue.
