    Default ? gong for 308 @ 200 yards

Does anyone have any ideas or advice for a steel gong to use at 200 yards with a 308? I really dont want to use paper b cause i dont have a spotter and i dont want to spend my range time walking back and forth 200 yards each way. So if amyone has any advice on the subject it would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking about building one myself but im not sure about materials and if i angle the plate or not

Use 1/2 500AR steel plate. I have 1 that I use at 300yrds and it works great, std hunting ammo just splatters on impact and after a few thousand rounds it only has a couple minor dimples in it from repeatedly hitting the same spot.

This guy was a vendor at one of our shoots a two years ago. He has steel targets like you are looking for, he also has the one in the link below if you have a place to use it and want to spend the money for a cool target.

The Newbold plastic handing targets would be reactive and cheap, and let you set it up and take it down fast. You can have a bunch of different sizes setup next to each other, too.

Just hang these under a saw horse:
