it makes me think what if ? and with that is it legal to use bean bags in Philadlephia for a shotgun for rioters who may damage and loot your property?

IANAL but I think using a firearm is using a fiream regardless of ammo. And as far as covering your own ass... Dead men can't sue for "pain and suffering" from non-lethal rounds.

If you plan on stepping outside the threshold of your home to shoot people stealing or damaging your property, while you otherwise would have been safe inside your home, would very likely put you in prison for life if you weren't out right shot by the police as soon as they arrived. Just sayin'.

I'd like to have some of those are they LEO? I wonder can you reload them yourself? I'd sure like to have some bean Bag ammo. I've never seem them were civilians could buy them.

Have you ever seen a Shotgun-sheel reloading bench?

You can load shotgun shells with pretty much anything! If you can buy beans (which you can) you can easily make bean-bag shotgun shells. Hell, there's very little you can't shoot out of a shotgun!
