    Default Food on TV

Okay, I HATE cooking shows! It's worse than watching poker and slightly above "2 girls 1 cup" as far as enjoyment goes. Emeril is a giant douche!

Rachel Ray is WAY too energetic in the "pisses me the hell off" kind of way.

    Shut your damn mouth!

That italian chick had a head four times larger than her body.

Bobby Flay is actually a much bigger douche than Emeril,

    (See what I mean?)

and Jamie Oliver sounds like he's trying really hard to rock a gay lisp but just can't pull it off.

    So I hate cooking shows.

    With 2 exceptions:

Alton Brown. Dude is the evil genius of food and he's got enough pop culture references to choke a goat. He's a geek, and he knows his shit. Add in his motorcycling and the show "feasting on asphalt" he's totally in my good graces.

Anthony Bourdain. Didn't like him, but he does his thing and has his finger on everything that is right in the world. He is the kind of dude you want to travel with, just because. Any cooking show (okay, it's a travel show) that has a parental guidance disclaimer is a show I want to watch.

(not really sure why I felt the need to type that up, but at least I got it off my chest)

Did you ever make an Emeril recipe? Good stuff.......

Rachel Ray? Also good food, and hot in a weird way

Italian chick, I can tell you something that is four times too big....hate the show though.

Bobby Flay? best god damn grill recipes on the planet

    Nerdy science guy? gay

You forgot my all time favorite. Paula Dean. If she was my mother, I would be 500 pounds

First off, I'm not commenting on the recipes, just the people.

(Don't like Paula Dean either. Might like her food...)

Ok, then I agree that the Italian chick is annoying. The show is filmed like a soap opera. I like them all except for the gay science guy.

Have you not watched Hell's Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey? Or even his show Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares on either BBC or FOX here in the US. If you haven't, you don't know what you're missing. Good stuff!

Or how about Duff Goldman on Ace of Cakes? He owns Charm City Cakes in Balitmore, MD. On one of his shows, he actually took his staff to the shooting range to shoot cake blanks (fake cakes made to look real). They launched them in the air like clay pigeons Plus he likes to use power tools when creating his cakes, can't beat that for innovation in the cake world.

Personally, I'd work for either of those guys for free

I wonder if you ever saw her spread in FHM in 2003. Here is a sampling.

Duff's not too bad. I didn't include him because he's a baker, but yeah he's not bad.
