He's obviously nuts since he paid $800 for a Glock 17. ;-)

Re: Army Vet with Permit Loses Constitutional Lawsuit...
This is why i constantly advocate being the "gray man." What is legal and what is illegal doesn't really matter if no one notices you. Take the bumper stickers off your car. Stop wearing clothing with gun stuff on them, camo, tactical pants, etc. Just blend in.
Why risk putting yourself in the middle of a broken justice system where you can be completely in the right and still be wrong?

Maybe because some of us ( although the number seems to be growing everyday) have pondered the situation and decided that tis better to stand up for yourself and your fellow patriots against tyranny in whatever form it takes vs meekly submitting in the hopes of tip-toeing past the sleeping lion.

Re: Army Vet with Permit Loses Constitutional Lawsuit...
I do it because I can.
Sure I dont wear camo pants etc but I do wear DOTM style t-shirts etc (before the whole tea party BS)...and I do have a PAFOA decal on my SUV...along with a few others....
I moved back to Philly after the military 12 years ago...and ive never had a single issue (knock on wood) with cops or anyone.

Grey Man? we have been grey men for the past 40 years. where did it get us?
Last time I checked this was the USA, you don't get proned out and tasered for wearing army BDUs and a pistol. Oh wait.... nevermind. So we tuck our tails and hide our dirty little shame and soon the "Custom" of exercising your 2 A rights gets quietly legislated out of the Constitution. after all its for our safety.
Next,1 A, Freedom of speech Oh wait never mind they can beat you into silence on the pretext its " Hate speech"or pretend documents covered in the Freedom of information act don't exist.
Next 4th Amendment, Oh wait that's under attack too, TSA can stop your car on the highways, search and detain for our collective "Safety". stop you in a bus station and search and detain you as well. How about a free grope and a hug at the airport before you travel?
Fuck that. Loud and proud. Stand up and show these bastards your not afraid of their Nazi bullshit propaganda all in the name of Safety.Derrion Albert was my Hero.

Re: Army Vet with Permit Loses Constitutional Lawsuit...
Well, gun control hasn't really been a mainstream political issue since the early 1990's and almost every state now has concealed carry laws on the books. The percentage of Americans favoring outright gun bans is now a small minority (well under 30% vs around 60% when GCA68 was passed) despite the percentage of gun owning households falling in the same time. The supreme court has even acknowledged the second amendment is an individual rights and incorporated it to the states. In all that time violent crime has dropped to nearly as low as it's ever been. I would say we've done pretty well in at least the last 20 or so.
Listen, I wasn't trying to make a statement about anyone's OC political movement so there's no need for you all to snap to the defensive. This isn't a story about one of your people. I am simply saying that if you're going to go concealed, BE concealed in all aspects. This isn't advice for political activists, just advice for people who don't want to unwittingly become one.Last edited by vicious; November 1st, 2011 at 01:07 PM.
