Default Grips for a k frame

I picked up a pretty minty S&W Model 13 3 inch .357. Good size, weight not too bad. Gotta play with some ammo, .357 110 gr, .38 +p, may just stick with 158 gr +p lswc.

Right now wearing functional black rubber grips, but I think I'd like to change to wood. Any suggestions?

Is the model 13 a round butt or square butt?

Hogue makes very nice one piece exotic wood grips:

see here if you want "full-size": http://www.hoguestore.com/index.php?...th=22_36_89_90

    or compact: http://www.hoguestore.com/index.php?...h=22_36_89_520

    or "Ultra-compact": http://www.hoguestore.com/index.php?..._36_89_186_236

Almost forgot! Stick with the 158 gr (or heavier) loads in .357 magnum. The light weight bullet loads have a reputation for causing cracked forcing cones in K-frame magnums.

I've got the same gun and have spent a good deal of money on grips. My favorite? Stock grips with a Tyler T-grip. Just stone cold sexy.
