Re: Closing the News forum
Wouldn't it have just been easier to move the forum as a sub forum of the lounge?
The 2A does not GIVE us the right. It tells the gov they can not INFRINGE our right.

Who needs the news? Nothing but negativity, death, hate and discontent anyway.

Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,

Re: Closing the News forum
Ok so let me get this straight, we did away with the whole rep system, now everyone is a winner and gets a star for participating. Criticizing another members viewpoint is no longer allowed, infractions are issued. And now the news forum is being dismantled because discussing certain issues may have offended certain parties?
This website is now only good for the gun babes thread, knowledgeable firearm info and occasional jokes. Congrats on running what used to be a quality website where both sides of the issue could be heard straight into the ground.

Re: Closing the News forum
1. You can still give negative rep. The system is still in place.
2. You can criticize another member; you just can't call them names or start ad hominem attacks. Stick to the facts of the thread and you'll be fine.
3. And you can still post news. It's just that instead of it being all over the place and posted in more than one location, the redundancy in the system is removed.
4. Why is it whenever there are changes made, someone claims the sky is falling? [sigh]

Now that we've done away with that useless news section can we now have the Survival/Preparation forum?

Re: Closing the News forum
Please Note: The poster was issued an infraction for this post.
Will this move stop Soberbyker from going on Facebook like a 16 year old and rounding up his friends to do a neg rep attack on a member who offers a differing viewpoint than his?
