According to this website (and a few others) with either your Active Military ID or your DD-214, you can apply for a non-resident Florida Carry Permit without having to take the training class and other pre-requisites.

As we know a Florida Permit is good in 27 states for concealed carry of a firearm and good in Florida for concealment of any deadly weapon (i.e. knife, baton, stun gun).

If you are a Pennsylvania resident, you MUST obtain a Pennsylvania Concealed Firearms Permit in order to be able to carry legally in Pennsylvania. Just having a Florida Non-Resident Carry Permit without a PA Carry permit does not make it legally valid for you to carry concealed in Pennsylvania!

Just wondering, where is this legally defined--as I've understood it, the attorney general's site says,

Note: It has come to the attention of the Office of Attorney General that there has been confusion over the applicability of Pennsylvania's reciprocal privileges with regard to the residency status of an individual who has been issued a valid license/permit. It is the position of the Office of Attorney General that recognition within Pennsylvania is based on the issuance to an individual of a valid license/permit by the reciprocal contracting state, and not on the license/permit holder's place of residence.

Glock discount is at time of purchase and must be bought through a Glock authorized Law Enforcement Dealer.

SIG is a factory $100 rebate.

Latest was that PA will honor valid FL permit under all circumstances. If you want PA LTCF as well ($26) Centre County Sheriff will issue with the fee and copy of your state of residence permit. This also was an excellent process. You can get the forms from their website. As I remember it, about 3 weeks mailbox to mailbox.
