Re: Would you care if your doctor asked you about owning a firearm?
If a doctor asks "Do you own a firearm?" most of us could truthfully answer "No".
I mean, how many of us own just ONE firearm? ;-)

Re: Would you care if your doctor asked you about owning a firearm?
My doctor can ask any question he wants... and I can not answer any question I want .
On a more serious note, my doctor hasn't asked about firearm ownership. If he did, I wouldn't answer - as I would for any question I didn't see how it pertained to why I was in his office. The doctor works for me (we pay him, not vise-versa). Yes, he went to school for a while to learn about the human body. However, it is my decision how I will be treated for any medical problems I may have - including how the diagnosis is reached. If I don't like the question (firearms, etc.), I just won't answer it without a very good reason.
