    Default "Hey, nice piece . . ."

Had to stop at the store for some pop (not soda, for some of you crazies out there ).

Paid with my debit, on the credit side, as I get more points that way (I also purchased a few other things as well). Standing there at the counter, a younger man, maybe mid twenties comes up within a few feet of me, and tilts his head to the side.

I already knew what was coming, so I was waiting for what was to come.

He:"Hey, nice piece. It looks old."
Me:"Nah, only a year or two. It's the wood grips. I prefer the classic style.
He:"You mean like soldiers would carry?"
Me:"Well, there are a few differences between this, and what they used to carry."
He:"Don't you carry a glock though? I thought all cops carried glocks."
Me:"You would have to ask my brother, he is the cop in the family. I just carry because he doesn't fit in my holster too well."

At this, the guy almost seemed to hesitate to laugh, until I started. At which point he seemed more relaxed.

He:"So, you mean you just carry it like that? Out in the open?"
Me:"I'm getting fatter, so my shirts are to small to cover it anymore. Besides, looking like this I get questions so I can educate people. . . "

The conversation went along like this for a while, nothing to amazing. Pointed him over here. My fliers were in my car, and the Mrs. had driven.

All in all, not a bad encounter. Educated someone, to help the cause, and get people thinking. Got my gun complimented. Which, he is intolerable now, sitting in his holster, hammer back like he is trying to strut. So, another casual, barely encounter from the western side of the state.
I'm so fast, I can bump fire a bolt action.

I think you should conceal-carry from now on. You know, to avoid all the hassle.

    j/k, well done.

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

The most dangerous place in America is a "gun free" zone.

I read "hammer' and "strut", and all I could think of was:

when I drink SODA I drink COKE!
And totez made me think of this (well, this is modified slightly from the original):

-Studies show that 10 out of 10 criminals prefer unarmed victims.

-Gun control isn't about guns, it's about control.

Ugh, don't make me watch shit like that ever again. First of all, I was waiting for one of those retards to blow some kid away or shoot the other cop. Secondly, I can't stand that kind of chest-puffing...even in the movies. Yeugh!

Where does soda stop and pop start? Not even Ohio from what I gather. God... I thought the Mid-West started in Chicago.

Where does "You guys" stop and Ya'll start? MD apparently.

And wash and "warsh", just a couple hrs. north.

Its crazy how close we all live and yet how different we all talk and... act for that matter.

We could make like 50 countries outta this bitch (<sick joke, its late)

Good compliment, good Class (education/schooled the fool)

    Pepsi! Sissy drink.

Coke? It's for wanna-be yuppies or DINKs.

Here in B.F.E. everyone drinks Mountain Dew, the kind with real sugar in it.
