Default Young's Gun Shop Glock Intel

Youngs in norry has a Glock 27 OD used for $500. They also have the Glock Sport holsters (only large left) for $12.99, Glock Sport single mag holster for $9.99, and KCI Glock 18 mags for $21.99.

I bought the Glock sport holster and KCI mag. I want the Glock but its not a 26. I'm looking to trade in my black 26 for an OD 26...... One day.....

    * I was just at the shop at 14:30.*

I keep telling myself to give this shop a visit, does he have a good inventory?

From what I recall he has 2 counter-top glass cases of pistols and revolvers. The backroom has many rifles and shotguns. Lots of fishing, bow hunting equipment, and rifle scopes.

This shop is not one of thoes gun shops full of tactical equipment. It's more of an outdoor sportsmans shop with a respectable amount of guns.

I've used them before to order stripped AR lowers from online. IIRC they do transfers for $20.

I wouldn't make any special trips if you live far but it's deff worth the time to drop by if its on your way.

Their hours are good. Tues to sat 10-7, sunday 12-5, and closed Monday's.

I don't buy much from them unless they have something I can't get cheaper online with shipping ( like the stuff I got today).

    Hope this helps

That helps alot actually, I don't need a shop heavy on the tactical stuff, I like sportsman type shops. It is not a far drive for me at all, I drove all the way to Ohio to check out gun shops with my buddy. If you get down by Dornsife check out ""The Long Shot", same kinda place, but he has some nice collectable stuff in there usually. He does good gunsmithing too, I frequent that place alot when I'm home.

Thumbs up Re: Young's Gun Shop Glock Intel

Finally stopped at Young's yesterday, that is a nice shop! Very nice older gentleman at the counter, I found it hard to leave without a hard chromed HK P7 PSP he has there.

    em2b96p:

If you desire your G27 in OD - have you considered getting a Cerakote finish done to it?

Xringshooter out of the State College, Pa. area applies these coatings.

Contact him and he will get back to you with a quote.

You can do just the lower, just the slide, or the entire firearm.

Can also have the slide and lower done in different colors if you want.

He even disassembles, cleans, coats, and re-assembles.

Email him and see what he can tell you.

BTW - my wife and I also stopped in Young's 2 years ago and really liked the shop and the employees.

Easy to find and good parking.

    Just a thought ...

    God bless!!
