    Default School teaches gun safety

This would be great to be taught in the school systems of the lower 48 states.

Won't happen but make a lot of sense.

The NRA has the Eddie Eagle program that really works, but schools don't want the NRA "brainwashing" the students. Schools hate competition.

It really does make sense. Just like we teach kids in the shop class how to handle a hammer or an electric drill, so should we be learning kids on how to handle a firearm. (Heck, I was taught how to field-strip an AK-47 in our civic class in the 5th grade)

But of course it wont happen. Any time that any kid later on in his/her life picks up a gun and blows someone away, it will be traced to, and blamed on, the time that he had to learn about firearms in school.

I think gun safety should be taught, just like I think Sex Education should be taught. I think that they should be taught differently, kind of like when I went through Hunter's Ed when I was 14.

I think that they should have an NRA sponsored gun safety course, kind of like a stripped down version of the basic firearms safety course. I also don't think it should be dumbed down.

I think the liberals should stick the anti-gun ideas and their spokesperson Hillary where they will never be seen or heard from again. And no, I am not a Republican, just Anti-Democrat on most things.
