    Default OC with shoulder holster?

I haven't really OC'd much, but I CC during the winter alot. Most of the time I see/picture in my head of someone OCing it's in a holster on the outside of there belt.
I always felt it would seem weird to OC with a shoulder holster, and was wondering if anyone does this. This is the holster I have, I got it with my used gun.

Also does anyone have any suggestions of a new holster, hip or shoulder, for my .44DE that's also left handed?

    You CC a .44 Desert Eagle ...

And I thought my 4" .44 Tracker was big.... you with the prize my friend.

I can't answer the OC shoulder holster or OWB holster question for you , I am not familiar with the .44 DE other than shooting one one time.

I would search the larger holster makers for some styles that you may like and also see if there are some custom makers that can hook you up too.

I have a SH but I won't use it to OC. As a matter of fact, I only use my SH when I wear a suit for business. For the rest of the time I either OC or CC with OWB.....it all depends on the situation.

    For CC it is.

If you're gonna use a shoulder holster, I wouldn't recommend you use the one you have pictured. I have almost the exact same thing, except for a smaller firearm. They don't hold tight, and your body movement can release the retention strap, and then at the most inopportune time, cause your firearm to drop to the floor.

If you're gonna carry, get a good one.

I used to OC sometimes with shoulder holster when I'd go fishing. I didnt carry something that big though just a G27.

Thanks everyone for all the responses. I guess I really don't have to worry about OCing much longer with the winter coming and all. I guess my plan will be to hopefully find me another job and save up for a 1911 or something that will work better of OCing in the summer. I do have a really cheap Bryco M59 9mm, I don't minding buying cheap guns but i'll never carry a cheap gun, and I know me DE will go BOOM every time unlike my Bryco lol.

Dude someone had the .50 at the range last week when I was there myself, that thing is INSANE, I was 4 lanes over and everytime he shot it I shook. It was louder with plugs in than my own 9mm firing 2 feet in front of my own body, unbelievable.
