Default "free floating" a synthetic stock

Is is ok to do this for a synthetic stock?

I know youtube isn't the way to do gunsmithing, but would this concept also apply for a rifle with a synthetic stock?

Free floating a synthetic stock isn't really any different than free floating a wood stock. The aim is to get any pressure points between the barrel and the stock removed so that if anything warps or the barrel heats up it doesn't change where the bullet is going when it exits the barrel.

You can make sure it's free floated if you bed it, it's kinda easy to do, as long as you take your time.
