    Default Hunting with Glock 20?

I was browsing the latest Cabela's flier out of Cabelas Hamburg location and I noticed that on page 10, they listed a Glock 20 (10mm) with a 4.6" barrel and that it came with an extra 6" hunting barrel.

It never would have occured to me to use a Glock 20 for handgun hunting.
Can you even do that in PA?

Here's the info. The G20 is on the bottom of page 10.

AFAIK, you can't hunt with a semiauto pistol in PA. You can carry one for self-defense while hunting, but it can't be used to take game.

You can not use it in PA. Other states do allow it from what I hear. I know people that have used them to hunt "wild" hogs at pay to hunt "game" farms here in PA.

Semi-auto's a no go here in PA, except for shotgun. If you're looking for someplace close I'd suggest West Virginia. It's beautiful, cheap, and you can hunt with just about anything short of an 81mm mortar (although maybe geese...). And ar15jules, if you're into hog hunting I suggest going down south, Georgia, Tenn, Ken... their overrun by swine and are practically begging people to help out.

Yeah, I saw that too. Comes with a special "hunting barrel".
They have other disclaimers in the flyer but not one for "Laws vary by State"

They print a national flyer. I don't think they need to point out to any PA residents who are hunters that a semi pistol is against regulations.

My BM XM15E2S 16" carbine is my pig rifle of choice. The 1:9 twist has no problem with anything inside of 200yds with Hornaday 75gr. Pigs hate it!
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
