No doubt she was instructed to give those instructions. They do it in Bucks County too. I'm sure they are trying to cut back on MWAG calls.

The Lehigh county LTCF came with a little flier in the mail. It says something of the sort "This license allows you to carry a firearm CONCEALED on your person. It does not license you to carry openly, although this is legal. However you may be stopped by police if you do so in Allentown or Philadelphia."

6111(g) (4) Any person, purchaser or transferee commits a felony of the third degree if, in connection with the purchase, delivery or transfer of a firearm under this chapter, he knowingly and intentionally:
(i) makes any materially false oral statement;
(ii) makes any materially false written statement, including a statement on any form promulgated by Federal or State agencies; or

To:

I finally got my license to carry on Monday. After everything was said and done I asked the lady about open carry. She stated that now that I have the permit I have to carry concealed. She even went as far as saying it has to be concealed inside my vehicle. I have researched the laws and I can't find anything even close to this, is she just misinformed?

Thats a good one. Im not exactly sure with all the laws but Im pretty sure its up to your discression if you want to open carry or not. I do know for a fact that it doesn't have to be concealed in your vehical
