    Default Granny's nightgown CC

    From WPXI.com
A 75-year-old Bethel Park woman is being held for a mental evaluation after police said she pointed a .38-caliber revolver at a police officer, prompting a standoff that ended peacefully about three hours later.

Police said they were responding to a dispute between neighbors along Collie Drive at about 9:30 p.m. Monday when the woman kept reaching into her nightgown and, eventually pulled out the gun and pointed it at the officer.

The officer retreated and called in the SWAT team and other backups.

The woman, whose name hasn’t been released, eventually surrendered about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday after speaking with a police negotiator. When officers went into the home, they said they found a gun, but it wasn’t loaded.

Neighbor Travis West said he has no idea anything was wrong until he saw SWAT team cars pull up on his street. "It was pretty intense," West said. "All of a sudden I turned around and there were cops everywhere. For them to call in SWAT and everything, it was an experience."

Police plan to consult with the Allegheny County District Attorney about possible criminal charges.
Never thought of a nightgown as a concealment garment... opens up lots of carry options. She's onto something here!
She probably doesn't have a LTCF, maybe she should have carried ONG?

For a demented 75 year old woman? Pussy.

    I'm suprised "SWAT" didn't launch a full-on attack with a multi-jurisdictional task-force

I read somewhere that a firearm's deadliness is inversely proportional to the age of the user past age 50.

Yeah, because a big nutsack will stop a bullet from a 75 yr old woman.

He would have looked pretty bad shooting down a nutty little old lady with an empty gun.

There's probably lots of non-lethal ways to get Granny to come out.

Barricade her bathroom, she'll be out in an hour...
Pump 10,000W of Metallica into the house, a la Manuel Noriega...
    Take her kitty-cat hostage...
