Excellent post - (I'll rep you as soon as it lets me)
Thanks for sharing it here (I don't get on to those other boards - work keeps getting in the way of my pleasure )

I don't regularly OC, usually only to and from the range. I have several different reasons why. I do not howerver bash those that do. I'm happy that they do.
It's their choice and only their choice. Thats what makes our country so great - being able to choose.
Having the ability to OC is what is most important.

We, the pro-carry citizens, have to stop criticizing each other. We have to stop playing footsy with the politically correct crowd and stick together.
    This is so true.
We will be our worst enemy if we don't wise up.

You know, in all the time I have been here and studying the laws surrounding OC and CC, arguing the OC side, I have never read this until today. Thanks for bumping it, not only for the new guys, but for the not so new guys too

Make that a double-bump! I think a lot of the recent OC vs. CC debates could be ended by everyone just taking the time to read this article.

After reading this, I've come to this conclusion: It's doesn't matter how we carry. What matters is that we're all carrying! We've fought very long and very hard to maintain these rights, and we're still fighting. The more people on our side, and the more people carrying and exercising those rights, the stronger our fight.

Us debating OC and CC is honestly only giving the anti-gun community more power against us; and that's the last thing any of us need.

Just my $.02 on this somewhat "revived" thread.

Bump...means replying to the thread so that it shows up in the "new posts" list. It moves it up in the posting order basically so that new forum members can see it easily.

I haven't read the entire thread lately, so don't know about the "btt" you refer to...maybe "bump to top"?

+1 on that Headcase. I never took the time to read it either until just now. Glad I did. Very good read.

Please excuse my naivety here but, I thought OC was not allowed if you had a CCW. Can someone please clarify this for me.

We do not get a CCW it is a License to Carry a Firearm which permits you to Carry Concealed ( including in a vehicle ) and in a City of First Class(Philly) either OC or CC. The LTCF makes it easier to OC so you can get in your car and not have to walk everywhere. So, to clarify, you can open carry regardless of the LTCF. Anyone who tells you otherwise does not know or is trying to intimidate you.
