it's never good when the fire dept.....
rolls up and parks in front of your house.......and you live in a row house.......
furnance malfuncion two places down set off co2 sensors.
this is about as scared as i've been in quite some time. been about 15minutes. and i'm pretty sure everything is cool....now.
i can't wait till teh trucks leave.
plus side is there is one real cute girly on the squad.
i think i hear them poking around in the empty place nextr us.....might go back outside agian.it's only metal, we can out think it....

I hear ya it sucks. I've been in the fire service for 13yrs. About 3 months ago I had some people beating on my door. Being the paranoid freak that I am I didn't answer the door just went upstars and grabbed my glock. Next thing hear is fire trucks in the neighborhood. I turned on my scanner and heard " two story brick structure....." and thought to myself this is the only brick structure on the block. I opened the front door and the Chief was yelling for me to get out. Turns out the guy in the front apartment had a small heater going and cought the carpet/drapes on fire...
