    Default 32 NAA 25NAA, Thoughts?

Ran across these calibers randomly and did some research. Seem like steller mouse guns but expensive to feed being a propriety caliber. The 32 NAA supposedly out preforms 380 with the 25 NAA out preforming 32acp. Anybody have one? Shot one? Thoughts?

I just know Valorius is gonna chime in since small diameter and bottle necked

32Naa is a nasty shooter. why spend all that money on the ammo that is supposed to shoot like a 380 when you can just buy a 380 cheaper? not to mention the gun sucks ass to shoot

Its supposed to shoot BETTER than a 380 with nearly 20% less recoil. It sucks to shoot? More explination plz. Everything I read says both calibers are easy and comfortable to shoot. Plus u can get 32 naa from naa for not horribly more than 380 or roll ur own from 380 brass

nasty meaning the shape of the gun with all the recoil its not a real pleasure to shoot. i had the 32 acp and that was bad enough with that gun, the 32naa is not fun, like i said why spend the money on ammo for that when you can just get a 380 and have the same thing just about. dont get me wrong, they are great guns, never had a problem with mine but the trigger is awfull and the 32naa is a really hot load

So u shot the 32 acp? The 32 NAA is in the larger 380 frame not the smaller 32 acp.

I cant believe no one else has researched these esp considering people carrying the balistically inferior 380

correct frame is bigger.....try one for yourself and decide if you like it. i perfer my 45 or my 38....you asked for an opinion and i gave you mine....i think its to snappy to shoot multiple shots, the gun is very heavy for its size but conceals well with a iwb holster, too heavy for pocket. the ammo is hard to find and its expensive. my idea of a carry weapon is something in a popular caliber that you can buy ammo anywhere at anytime.

I did and ty. I want to shoot one. I have heard of people converting other 380s to shoot this round as well

Just found out there are 32 NAA 4" conversion barrels for maks. I think if I go 32 naa route ill track one of those down

or a db380 with convertion barrel($400 all said and done

IMO, the .32 NAA doesn't really make too much sense, but others might disagree.

The .32 NAA doesn't have any more energy than typical .380 ACP and falls pretty far short of .380+P offerings from Buffalo Bore, yet it gives up the diameter and bullet weight of the .32 in exchange for the smaller, lighter bullet of the .32 ACP.

I would say that .32 NAA is better than .32 ACP, but not as good as some of the better .380 ACP loads available.

Here is what Brassfetcher has to say. They seem to like it:

    http://www.brassfetcher.com/32NAA.html

But i would also note that they do not compare it to the best .380 offerings, but rather to the last generation Federal Hydrashok, which does still outperform it regardless.

Compared to Buffalo Barnes 80gr+P SCHP @ 1130fps from a Kel Tec P3AT, a load that gives 10+" penetration and over .65" expansion, i do not think that the .32 NAA compares very favorably at all.
