Does my FIL need a license?
Hey brand new here guys, great forum.
Anyhow, the in-laws will be in town from Ohio next weekend.
My father in law would like to go w/ me opening day pheasant, but not shoot: just walk the fields, be in the woods, etc. HAS HELD AN OHIO LICENSE. No intent to carry a gun.
HAVING A HARD TIME INTERPRETING THE BOOK: One part says if he has never been licensed he can observe provided he does not participate. Just under that it says he can participate so long as he does not carry, but has to adhere to regs re: orange, etc. (HUNTING/TRAPPING DIGEST)
Trying to keep from purchasing an out of state small game license for 1 day when he really doesn't intend to hunt. Would be hunting State park & SGL in Wash County/Burgettstown area.
Thanks in advance for the help
