No idea what was going on...
So I went to the range today to put some more rounds through my new SR9C. Up to this point I haven't had a single hiccup through 200 rounds of various range ammo. I shot another 50 rounds and no problems at all. Then I let one of my friends shoot. Literally every other round was a failure to feed or a failure to eject. I would take over and the gun was flawless. She would shoot again and the FTE and FTF's would start again. Any ideas?

^ This.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

That's what I was thinking. I suppose I just was in doubt that a lose grip could wreak that much havoc. Thanks guys.

Semi-Auto's always need a firm wrist to cycle against, if you limp wrist them, they'll jam like that. If you can stand a little bit to her side and watch her shoot, you should be able to see the issue. How does she have her weak hand while she's shooting? Is she doing a "tea cup" grip, if she is, change that.

Re: No idea what was going on...
Have her fully extend, or even hyperextend her elbow while shooting. Have you shown her how to assume a proper two handed grip? She definately limp wristed it.
There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Re: No idea what was going on...
To add some redundancy: definitely limp wristing.
There's only a certain amount of energy the gun uses to cycle the slide. If she has a weak grip or loose elbows/wrists, some of that energy will instead be used to cycle her hands. :-P This takes away from the energy used to cycle the slide, and thus, it doesn't have enough UMPH to eject the round (or any other multitude of problems).Slaves don't own arms; free men do.
