Walther P22- What ammo do you put through it?

just wondering what kind of ammo people are using? have you had any problems with it jamming? thanks.

CCI works best for me with the 5" barrel. Rem works best with the 3.5" barrel. P22 are notorious for feeding, polish the ramps, this helps a lot. Do yourself a favor and download the p22 bible, there is so much info there and tips and tricks to get yours running like it should. They are very, very reliable once you get the feed issue worked out.

I use only CCI Minimag and have so far had no problems. The only trouble is Minimag is now hard to find and ridiculously expensive when I can find it. It should normally go for $10 or less for a box of 100. Thank God I have a lot of it on hand.

I use the CCI minimags and Aguila Super Maximum hyper velocity. Good luck finding ammo.

I put everything through mine, but the only ammo i find that is exceptionally accurate and consistent in mine is REmington Yellow Jacket with CCI stinger a close second.

Ive put everything through mine the only ones that didnt cycle were the agula SSS and super colbrie, and I didnt expect them to. I have the long barrel model, no polishing or anything worked right out of the box.

So far mine has fed everything I put thru it, Remington Thunderbolts included. It not as accurate as some of my other .22 Pistols, But it is fun to shoot.

If it matters, mine is an older one I bought used about 6-8 years ago.
