I'd hate to place a bit on an item I haven't seen personaly. Especially collectable military arms. Do you know if there is there an inspection period on an item after you receive if you win a phone bid?

Just left the auction. Machine guns went way over reserve,$ 17.000 for the Thompson and $ 5,100. for the carbine.lots of great buys.Lots of happy bidders.

I knew it, I told a friend of mine between 15-20k for the Thompson.

I wish I had attended. I went to Smalley's gun auction in Quakertown instead there were deals, but everything I wanted went for retail or more. Oh well.
