For your hard work with the Youth Pheasant Hunt today. My son's comment on the way home was "It was a lot better than I thought it would be" Coming from a 16 year old video game junkie, I think that is pretty high praise.

Very cool, where was the hunt held? I know they do a good job stocking Littz Run for the kids.

The hunt was at Speedwell Forge Lake.

Very good, a lot of kids have success? I hunt archery in the County Park that connects to the Lakes property.

In my sons group of 3, they all got shooting and 2 took birds home. My son hit one and knocked it down but even with a dog, we couldn't find it. They put out 7 birds for our group, I think we found 6 of them.

Each group consisted of 3 kids, 3 parents, a dog handler and a 'pheasant booter'. They had 2 groups at a time and 4 time slots so a total of 24 kids got a chance to hunt. Some of the kids got their limit.

I've been on the farm ground in the middle of that county park. Be careful you don't fall down, it's a long steep tumble to the bottom of the hill!
