Re: "Florida permit" ??????
Is a PA Act 235 card good enough for their "training" requirement?

Re: "Florida permit" ??????
This was "current" as of June, 2011 when I first posted it:
Utah:
NEW $65 (non resident)
RENEWAL: $15
Valid for 5 years, must take a class with a Utah certified instructor, fingerprints with new application, need photo, and if your home states issues a license/permit you must have one and send a copy.
Florida:
NEW $117
RENEWAL $107
Valid for 7 years, requires training, but you may already have training that meets the requirement, need photo, need fingerprints with new AND renewal applications.
Arizona:
NEW $60
RENEWAL $43
Valid for 5 years, training similar to Florida, fingerprints with new application, no photo.
See www.handgunlaw.us for reciprocity of each permit/license.Last edited by soberbyker; October 8th, 2011 at 06:30 PM.

Re: "Florida permit" ??????
For a Florida permit you need fingerprints taken by a law enforcement agency. Good luck trying to get that done in Philadelphia.

ANY NRA or similar basic training course will suffice to meet Florida's training requirement, including a Hunter Safety Course
