    Default Browser hangs after posting

After posting a message, my browser hangs, saying "waiting for forum.pafoa.org" for well over a minute or 2.

If I open a new "tab" and navigate to the thread, the post is already there, and I can do that long before the original tab catches up, or even loads anything new.

Using Google Chrome 14.0.835.187 on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1.

EDIT: For some reason now, this post did not hang, but redirected immediately. Strange. Could it be on my end?

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

It is...........have you tried cleaning your registry and/or cookies up? Most of the time this is because of registry problems and cookie clutter.
On the other hand...........what system are you using and how much memory do you have?

Probably, but it's not important enough to warrant any attention, so it won't get investigated, let alone fixed.

Next time it does it...hit stop...then hit "submit reply". It will tell you it's a duplicate and redirect you to the post.

It's a well-know issue. Even staff members (including me) experience this. Sadly, the final statements you made are correct. It's simply "not a priority" to those who could/would take up the matter.

Mine does this from time to time too. If it sits too long, I do what you describe. I open the same thread in another tab, check to see if my post is there, and if so, just close out the offending window. I clear my cookies and history on a regular basis, and that does not seem to have an effect. It doesn't happen enough to get wound up about it. I have plenty of other things to get wound up about.

Face wall, beat head against wall. Wash, rinse, repeat.
In the mean time expect nothing to change except the size of the lump on your head.

Oh and the owner still claims he represents you unless you uncheck the default switch in your user cp.
