Re: RJ Reynolds
You know that smoking now will require that you immediately ship this pistol to me.

Re: RJ Reynolds
Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should post this info. in the how do you fund your guns thread.
Once again congratulations and keep it up. This with cutting back on the liquor can make a real difference in your life when you get our age. We are crowding 3/4 of a century and are still active and still shoot and hunt.Last edited by phill; April 25th, 2012 at 04:49 PM. Reason: darn fat fingers

Re: RJ Reynolds
WTG.
9.5 years for me.
A friend of mine died on the operating table while they were trying to remove some small tumors. He was an old timer, but I feel he had another ten years in him.
This was 3 months before my first daughter was born.
I woke up the next day, tossed the pack into the trash, and haven't had one since.
I figure with no smokes, no chew, and cutting back on the bar, I've easily kept 25K in my pocket.
For the first couple years, instead of buying a carton of smokes and a roll of Cope every week, I would buy ammo. I amassed a very large stockpile rather quickly.
At the time, I was normally picking up 150-200 rnds of 9mm a week plus a brick of .22 and a few boxes of 5.56 on the savings from smoking and chewing.
I then started banking it in a savings account, once I got a grand in it, I started looking for a new gun.
I still bank the money, but now it's going for my kids.
To those that want to quit but lack the motivation, think about what you could buy gun wise with 25K.
