Re: Just got a NIB replacement from Taurus... What to do with it?
Sell it. For a 380 look at a Sig 232. Two tone around $500, All blue with night sights around $600. Mine has been flawless with 95 gr fmj and Hornady 95 gr JHP personal defense ammo.

If Taurus sent you a replacement pistol, then they have already shot it for you, guaranteed. You say it could fill in some gaps, so, put some ammo through it, and if it functions well, then keep it. At least 100 failure free rounds, half of them being rapid fired. All of this being if you don't need the money. If you decide to get a different BU gun, Ruger makes some things right up that alley.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

I dont know, thats tough. It sucks you got a dud. Kinda like going to a restaurant and getting a bad meal. Are you ever gonna go back to that restaurant? Probably not. So put it in the classifieds here and see what happens. If you get no responses maybe try a gun shop. You might be able to trade it for an LCP and some ammo. Good luck

Interesting. I went to a restaurant that wasn't any good and I won't go back, but I'll tell my friends to go there. Taurus replaced the meal at no cost. Try it. You never know, the BBQ may turn out to be good.
This gun shot or not is still worth the same amount of $$$. It is not a collector piece and they are a dime a dozen.BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Re: Just got a NIB replacement from Taurus... What to do with it?
Thanks for the advice guys. I checked out some shops today and the offers were underwhelming (which I kind of expected).... I think I'm going to post it up on here and see if I get any bites. At this point I don't NEED a pocket 380 and for a reasonable price I think I would rather have the cash. Christmas is right around the corner after all...
Thanks again guys.

You could always put in a durable airtight container with tools, parts and ammo. And then bury it in your yard somewhere...

I wouldn't be able to get rid of it fast enough. Good pick on the Kahr. Maybe consider a P380 for when the CM9 is too big. The P380 is pricey, but sooooo nice. The trigger would also be very similar to the gun you're already carrying and shooting, there's something to be said about that.
You can always pickup an LCP or a KT too.Selling off a a sizeable Spyderco collection here
