For home built guns, what are the BATF requirements? Pay a tax stamp and register a serial number? I remember seeing a list of how many guns of what caliber were manufactured in a given year, broken down by manufacturer. It was interesting to see how many 1 and 2 gun "manufacturers" there were.

At what point do you have to pay the tax stamp?

I guess it is the same deal for people who bend their own AK receivers. Its not a "gun" when it comes as a flat. But once it gets bent, even if it isn't fully assembled, it is a receiver that needs to be licensed.

You don't have to tell anyone about it. Tax stamps are only for NFA items (short barreled riles, short barreled shotguns, AOW's, machine guns, destructive devices, silencers)

Wow! That's it, all I can say. No witty comment. Just "wow".

Ok, we've seen the picture. I'm sure there are a few more questions. Mine is....what caliber is that? OK, two questions. What is the barrel made from? Sigh.........3 questions. Is your life insurance up to date?

I'll be blunt. That thing looks fucking dangerous. But I'll give you kudos, it's much further an attempt than I would try. I know a place you can try it out when the time comes. It's very close to a hospital.

I certainly wouldn't tell anyone about it. I'd make sure I wiped my fingerprints off too.

I feel so mean about this but damn, I have tears rolling out everytime I look at the picture.
