Default Little Pine State Park range

So the old lady and I were perusing the DCNR website and came across Little Pine State Park as one of our options for a camping trip in October. I noticed that they have a rifle/ archery range but could not obtain much information about it on the website. Tried google and yielded nothing. Does anyone have any information on the range? web link, range rules/ restrictions, fees, etc. Not that the range is a deal breaker, we plan to go there regardless. Just want to know if i should bring along a rifle/ shotgun or two, along with my "take with me anyway" G19.

    Thanks
    Jim

There is no charge to use the range. The longest is 200 yards down to 10 yards. There is approximately 6 picnic tables for benches to shoot off of and an area at the end for pistols. I do not know of any capacity limitations and semi auto pistols are fine to shoot. I do believe that from memory that semi auto ar and ak type weapons might not be allowed but I can't remember.

Thanks for the info. No Pa hunting license like PGC ranges? No check-in or anything, Just set up and shoot? We will be camping there so I could always get more details from Ranger or Office personnel. I just would like to be prepared as possible before hauling extra gear in my car from Philly.

No this is a DCNR range. First come first serve also early mornings seems best. Been awhile since I shot there. To be sure of all the range rules I would call the park office there. 200 yard,100 yard, 50 yard 25,15 and 10 I believe. It is a nice park and a very scenic area. Target areas are dirt pills ussually with logs to staple targets too.
