Re: Carrying in PA casino - got response from the board
This is why I actually support seeking the board's approval, even if the end result is a nearly 100% guaranteed "no".
This is a chance to flush out those issues publicly. I would have no problem if the casinos were private property owners banning firearms, just means I wouldn't go. However, I have a huge problem with the regulation through government officials and want to hear them back up their opinions on record.
This might get bigger than just the OP too; I'm getting a bit of interest from some others who are considering petitioning at the same time.

Couple of side topic comments.
First, if you're not flashing cash, nobody is going to bother you. Why holdup a loser, his pockets are empty.
Walking to your car with a chunk of cash - don't, use valet parking.
On a big enough payuout, casino will offer an escort.
Consider taking the payout as a check.
Personal safety does not start by carrying, it starts with situational awareness, and not being in the wrong place to begin with.

This applies if you are leaving the casino. Coming in is a different story. That is when criminals will want to strike. There is a greater chance someone is coming in flush with cash then leaving with cash.
Yes, valet parking is an option, but some people don't want to pay for it.DISCOUNTS - Steel Target Paint: beaverje10 (10% off) | Wiland USA: jbeaver05 (5% off)

Re: Carrying in PA casino - got response from the board
Or they don't want to hand a random stranger the keys to their car which potentially contains a lot of personal items including things with their name and home address on it while said stranger knows they will be otherwise occupied inside the casino and it's likely their house is vacant.
Unless it's a rental car, I never valet.
