    Default PAFOA "Legal Section"

I was thinking perhaps we could have a little section on the website showing the cases that the community here has helped people with. For example, perhaps a little blurb about the gnbrotz case and later perhaps the Damage Control case. Not really a form area, but another area on the PAFOA website.

    Just an idea...

Not a bad idea considering our members are constantly getting in trouble for doing nothing wrong. Or at the very least fighting for the rights we are entitled to.

It's in the works in one form or another. I plan on creating an "Incidents" database or somesuch for tracking these kind of issues.

I had a similar thought myself today. Good to know it's at least 'on the list' and being given some thought.

Also, the cartoons are cute, but I would argue that neither the events of my own situation or Damage Control's rise to this definition. Neither of us ignored a law as part of a 'peaceful protest'.

IMO, Civil Disobedience would be ignoring an (illegally passed) county ordinance prohibiting firearms in polling places. Though the ordinance itself is bogus, I'd have to defend my violation of it, and present as part of my case why it was invalid. This is completely different from being 100% within the law, but choosing to decline a "personal request" made by someone under the color of authority.
