Default I Wish Someone Made A...

I have not seen much innovation in firearms in the last two decades or so and I am curious as to what is wanted. What firearm(s) type or specific features would you want to see in a new model that is either not available or prohibitively expensive?

The sky is the limit here and let us keep it to non-NFA weapons. We can also stray into carbines and pistol caliber carbines, yet I would like to keep the focus on handguns.

I shall start with one of my desires, a "modernized" squeeze cocking pistol (think P7) with the low bore axis and as system similar to the P7. Add to that a double stack magazine (15+ rounds) and possibly an aluminum or polymer frame (to keep it light and or less costly) and we are in business. I would also use the space "saved" by the P7 system to put a 5 inch barrel (as opposed to the 4 incher in the P7) for a little bit more barrel and sight radius.

    More 10mm firearms. Ruger GP100 in 10mm would be nice. Or a Sig 220/226 in 10mm. S&W M&P in 10mm...

A modern pistol chambered in 7.62x25 with a 15 round magazine. Something from CZ sounds about right.

Absolutely, I would love to see an M&P chambered in 10mm along with high cap magazines for all M&P calibers, especially the M&P .45.

Break-top, light weight Smith and Wesson in 10mm with night sights.

I like the 7.62x39 revolver idea, would make one heck of a hunting handgun. How about a interchangeable cylinder for 7.62x25.

    Long live cheap surplus ammo!

I know these aren't selling great but I would like to see more revolvers that fire from the bottom cylinder like the rhino. the lower bore axis cuts muzzle rise dramatically and I think that a reasonably priced one from an established manufacturer would sell well.

If we are being really picky I'll take one in 10mm.

I'd like to see the P30 in 10mm. Keep it the size it is and it be able to hold 15+ rounds in the mag. That would suit me for the time being.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

A poorly placed off-hand index finger would get thumped pretty hard by the cylinder gap blast in 10mm, don't ask how I know that. 10mm in a revolver is pretty tame actually, now in a Bond Arms it can get lively!
