Kahr PM9 Sight Question

All - I recently purchased a PM9 in Black with factory night sights. Great gun so far!

I have been having a little trouble hitting the bulls eye though, I keep hitting to the left.

When I got home from the range yesterday, I took a good look at the rear site and got out my 1/64th ruler. The rear sight is 1/64th to the left, 6/64ths on the right, 5/64ths on the left.

My basic question - does this matter? I talked to Kahr briefly today, of course they want the gun for 4 weeks to check it out, which may be the right thing to do.

Are you sure it's the sights causing it to shoot left? I mean, you would need to move it half of 1/64" to the right and 1/128" difference is so minimal to make it sit dead even.

IMO, I hate sending guns back to the manufacturer unless I absolutely have to.

Have someone else shoot the gun and see where it hits for them first.

Kahr service turnaround is pretty quick - especially if it's just a sight adjustment. You can always try tapping the sight over very carefully with a brass punch.

I am planning to have someone else more familiar with the gun shot it before I send it back.
