Nice.I bought a new one yesterday myself,also a 1911 but mine is a citadel.looking forward to shooting it.Been interested in a 1911 for a long time but never fired one.Definately different than my ruger p95.

Big weekend for 1911's. I bought a RIA yesterday. Your springfield looks a lot like my RIA. Or my RIA looks like your springfield. Congrats took mine shooting this morning.

Theres a few differences between the two. I was actually considering getting a RIA but the Springfield just did more for me. I like their logo. lol

I got the chance to try out a few Springfield Armory 1911s about a year or two ago. I like the SA better than my Colt.

Owned one JUST like it, since 1995. Changed the grips and added an ambidextrous safety - otherwise identical!
