9mm carbine
Does anyone know of a 9mm carbine that takes Browning Hi Power magazines?
The only one I have ever heard of is an Italian made bullpup.
Something like 1000 of them were imported before GHWB outlawed their importation by decree and they're impossible to find.
Thanks dick.Last edited by oblivionboyj; September 22nd, 2011 at 12:17 AM.

Re: 9mm carbine
Ah yes. The AGM1. And i think it was closer to only like 100 making it here before they (and every semi auto rifle being imported if i remember correctly) were banned.
I am pretty sure that some small company has all the equipment and plans to make them here in the US though. I just dont think bullpups have reached their prime yet. Hopefull someday soon though. :-)The Beauty of the 2nd Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

Re: 9mm carbine
Yeah, these guys have the stuff and are looking for capital investors to build them in the US.

I would buy one in a heartbeat.
Other than that though, are there any 9mm carbines that use the BHP magazine?

Re: 9mm carbine
OK, I am guessing that we have found the one 9mm carbine that takes Hi Power mags (and it is not available at the moment- LOL).
I guess my next series of questions is about magazine simalarities...
What magazines are dimentionally closest to the Hi Power magazine?
If I can not find a carbine that takes Hi Power magazines, maybe I will see if I can modify another carbine (or have one modified) to take Hi Power magazines.
Anybody know the dimentions of Hipoint magazine?

Re: 9mm carbine
Did you inherit a warehouse full of Hi Power mags or something?
Why in the name of God would you go through the trouble of altering a carbine to make it work with a mag it wasn't designed to use?I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: 9mm carbine
No, never heard of such a beast.
It's hard enough to find a Kel Tec Sub 2000 that accepts Sig mags. :-/
S&W 5900 series.

I bought a 995 for my god son. It uses single stack magazines.
Not even close, i'm afraid.
The Sub2000 would probably be your best bet?
I'm betting his pistol of choice is a BHP and he wants his carbine to use the same mags, in case of a SHTF/Zombie apocalypse.Last edited by Valorius; September 23rd, 2011 at 11:49 PM.
