    Default New to Pike question

Company I'm going to work for is supposed be putting it's new facility in the vicinity of Matamoras, and I was curious as to if it's legal to discharge a firearm on a property that the closest house is more then 100 yards away at the very least. (Haven't seen if there is even any houses near it, I don't think there is.) I heard somewhere that the general rule was it couldn't be within 500ft of another house, but I just want to double check and make sure it's alright because different places have different rules. Thanks!

I don't know the specifics of that area, but it would or could depend on township/borough regs as well as regs/rules if the location were in a private community.
    ...and they have a plan...

I don't know what the law is. If you have enough land and you are far enough away from houses it's not going to be a problem. It all depends on if someone complains. If you're worried call the pike county sherif dept. What kind of shooting do you like to do? I've live about 20 min from Matamomoras and I can give you an idea of what's around if want to know. There's a public range about 40 min away. A couple indoor ranges about an hr or so. If you are into pistol shooting there are some really good IDPA shoots but you have to travel about 1 1/2 hrs. If you are interested send me a pm.
