    My bad.
No sweat man, just had me for a sec there going 'wait . . . what?'
Regardless I still wouldn't call CB or DT low quality, as long as they're pushing a quality modern HP at sufficient velocity they'll get the job done. Not using a low flash powders can cause problems in low light, thus my statement of lower quality, not necessarily low quality.

Anything but lead in your Glock is fine.

Blazer Brass and American Eagle can often be purchased pretty cheap and I have found them very reliable in my G34. Sometimes i can find S & B cheap and that's another great round (not US, i think it's Czech?).

Hope this helps. I am new to the area (Bucks Co.) and would like to know who has decent prices on ammo in the area.

^^^This. Typically, the ONLY thing I go to Walmart for is ammo.

Wal~Mart Winchester white box shoots well in all of my handguns except for my Harrington & Richardson 949 .22LR revolver. Their .22 ammo seems a bit dirty and I've had quite a few misfires with it. The H&R shoots much better with Federal Game.Shok. My wife has a Walther P22 and shoots CCI Minimags through it exclusively with no problem.

I've shot hundreds, if not thousands of the 9mm Federal JHP range ammo that you can get at Wally's for $10, and never had any discernible problems.

I wouldn't use it as carry ammo, obviously, but it's fine for practice.

Thanks for that point. I just picked up some hollow points for CC yesterday. My thought was that I only need 1 box for CC. I am not going to use these at the range. But I will be going back for a couple more boxes.

    Thanks!

Another thought for you if money is an issue.

SD ammo packaged for consumers usually comes in boxes of 20 or 25, and is often $1+ per round. Many brands, however, are available in "Law Enforcement" 50-packs (marked "LE") for about half the price per round.

I use Speer Gold Dot (on that list above), which is fairly easy to get in LE packs. Also, Federal HST (not Hi-Shok or Hydra Shok) and Ranger T (both also on that list above) can also be had if you look hard enough and are outstanding rounds based on all the tests I've seen.
