I don't know, and I have not been to that restaurant in York.

Other than Cobblestones (a sports bar downtown) I have never had any issues at any establishment in almost 3 years.

FWIW, I never ask, I just go. In my experience it is not typical that people even notice.

In an alternate universe, NYC has open carry featured in fashion venues. Supermodels strut their stuff in fur trimmed outfits and leather holsters with sexy looking guns in them.

In this alternate universe, NYC's subway has the politest riders. Even the homeless man who licks his shoes, and the lady talking to herself, do so politely.
