Is is possible to meet at Copperhead to show the type of business that they are losing as a result of their policy for the sheeple?

As Dave mentioned, the 8th is already scheduled for a private event, and a lot of local OCers will be there. But not all, and not even all from the valley. There are some of us who are OCers and some of us who are cigar smokers. I am thinking of posting a time when I will plop my rear into a comfortable chair at Cigars International and seeing if anyone else shows up. One need not smoke or OC to attend, but it is an OC friendly place. Heck, they raffled off a rifle not all that long ago. They had it hung up on a platform for everyone to see as you walked in the door.

Let me know what time this will be and I'll be there, I wanna talk to them about getting a locker anyway, two birds!

Is this event open to the noobs as well? I've been lurking for a while, but would like to meet some like minded folks in my area.

Which event? There is a hypothetical event described in the OP, a private one mentioned, and then I also mentioned that I was thinking of setting something up for CI sometime in the future. Events posted here on the boards are always open and noobs are welcome. But no one has set one up as of yet. I'll be saying more about the CI thing when I get some time to actually plan it and do it. I will be sure to post it here, here being on the board - not necessarily in this thread.

Definitely. I will post something up as soon as I can, but that will probably be a couple of weeks before my schedule frees up. In the meantime, anyone is free to start an event. There is no official social secretary here. Post it, and they will come.

I'm up for it. My work schedule makes early evenings the best time. Oct. 22 weekend is out, but other than that, just about any time works for me.

Except for the 8th, most of my weekends are booked up. Which leads me back to the question of: When is good for everybody else?

I'm thinking I'll just contact some people who OC in real life, post a date and time, and just see who shows.

That being said, I'm thinking Thursday October 13th might work.

I'll be there. I also invited some people on Mcall.com that belive it is illegal to open carry in PA. Figure no better way to show them it's legal!
