Range test Ruger LC9
Took my new Ruger to the range today. Between myself and my friend we fired 300 rounds. No malfunctions of any kind.Fairly accurate for such a small pistol. Also took my Kel-tec Pf9 and my Taurus 709 along for comparision. I like the feel of the Ruger better than the other two, but I have to say that the 709 is every bit as good as the Ruger in the accuracy department. The Kel-tec had no problems either but the Ruger just feels better to me.

I got one and it shoots very well for how small it is. No problems yet, but I only have around 200 rounds through. How do you carry it btw?

Re: Range test Ruger LC9
Just wondering does the LOADED CHAMBER IDICATOR get in the way of the sights? Or hinder with holstering?
I wish Ruger made an option without it and the manual safety but more so the indicator I just find quite annoying. (I know opinions are like...)

Re: Range test Ruger LC9
i don't even notice the loaded chamber indicator when I am shooting. I just ordered a holster that hangs on your belt loop that is supposed to look like a cell phone holder. I'll let you know how it is as soon as it comes in.

Re: Range test Ruger LC9
I had the LC9 and it's a dandy gun. Never had problems with the indicator interferring with the sights or holstering. I carried it in a Don Hume IWB and it was practically unnoticeable. Ran over 600 rounds without a problem.

Could you do some picture comparisons of the pf-9, the taurus 709, and the LC9?
