What model COLT and what condition is the gun in??? values vary depending on model, accessoris and condition. a mint gun with the original box, mags and owners manual will bring more than if the seller just has the gun and one mag. does the gun have night sites and what type of finish, stainless steel or blue? depending on model and condition i would guess 500-600 for a used gun and maybe 700 "IF" the gun is in mint condition and has all the factory accessories.

i'm guessing about 250 for the ruger

Well the Colt is a 70 series by the serial, and they started with #70B00001 in 1981 so would guns lettered "N" be somewhere around 1994?

Not knowing anything else about it, I can't even guess a value.
Pics would be needed at the very least as well as approx round count and if the original box and papers are present.

The Ruger is 1966, Super Single Six
Same as above, not knowing any other details, average condition I would also say about $250 or less retail.

Thanks for the replies. I was able to get some more information on the guns. The Colt is a Gold Cup National Match and is blued with black grips. And the Ruger is also blued. I have no idea of a round count and there is no original box or papers and one magazine. I have attached a couple of pics. Not real good lighting or camera but the best I could do. Thanks.

If it is indeed a MKIV.....it would bring between $500-$800 easily. The Ruger would bring you around $300 with your eyes closed on Gunbroker so I would not hesitate and buy them both.

at 80% the blue book puts the colt at 450 for a series 80 and a series 70 at 80% condition at $500

the ruger at 80% condition is listed with a value of $175 with the desirable 4-5/8
    or 9-1/2 " barrel and $120 with the 5-1/2 or 6-1.2" barrel
