I know it's a pre regersration match and limits the amount of people but some else has to be going?

If you are talking about the October 15 shoot, I wanted to go but am attending an Appleseed shoot that weekend. Seems like a popular weekend for stuff since DCFS is having a bowling pin match. Have fun.
FYI- the website says it does not require pre-registration although you may be talking about a different match.

That's funny, I was just thinking that all the interesting stuff was 6 hours away near Pittsburgh. Go figure.

OP- DCFS pin match is actually Oct 9. I have never done one before but I am only 10 mins away.

If you check around, you can find some sort of match USPSA/IDPA, 2-Gun, 3-Gun, etc.... behing held almost every weekend within 2 hrs of Pittsburgh almost year round.
But if you work weekends, it does make it a little harder.

There are many clubs that shoot USPSA in Western PA. East Huntington, Clairton, McDonald, Pardoe, Holidaysburg.
