    Default 870 20 gauge accesories

Well I done and went and bought another gun

Im planning on running this in the upcoming Rob Haught shotgun course.
    Its a Remmington 870 20 gauge.

    Few things
I plan on killing some squirrels with it
My wife has taken a liking to shotguns, I dont know why but I want to encourage it, if she can get comfortable with this one it would make a good gun for her side of the bed or while Im away, and a great training gun.

Ive got an urge to trick this bad boy out
    "Tactical 20" ! :rockout:

Its so damn light and handy. I really am digging it.

So.... scince Im a zero on shotguns.

Mesa makes a 870 20 gauge 8 round side saddle I think Im going to pick up. Im thinking the stock forend wont clear it.
    options for forend ?
options for forend and mounted light ?
    rear peep sights ?
    sight sets ?
Im not thinking RDS, if it is does become a "Her's" house gun Im not spending the money on another Aimpoint for it . Shes killing clays with it the way it is though, so Im thinking maybe just a FO front as she is clearly comfortable shooting the bead.

    No pistol grips

Stock is usable as is, but if there is a good option point it out.

I got the sling taken care of.

My girl has a Remington 20 ga tactical (?) has a factory extended tube and the Non-recoil reducing Knoxx stock. That stock is very nice adjustable LOP for you and her. Look at AI&P Tactical http://www.aiptactical.com/ for ideas, he rebuilt a 870 factory LE folder for me and it was awesome. Trijicon tritium front sight. Surefire does not make a fore end weapon light for the 20 ga but AI&P has been looking to make an adapter. CDM http://www.cdmgear.com/ makes brackets that may work for the 20 ga. I don't have a side saddle so I can't help you there. They are fun to ninja-up.
