There is very strict criteria to be involuntarily commited. The petitioner must prove that you are a harm to yourself, others or can no longer take care of yourself. No doctor will commit just for owning firearms and not agreeing with the government. It's also a two doctor process to 302 someone.

I don't have your level of confidence, here.

Oooooh... this has all the makings of a "he said/she said" sphincter-tingling episode of "Maury!"

Ward said police initially believed the man had many more weapons than they later found in the house — including several automatic weapons. The man once had a special federal permit to possess the guns, but the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives revoked that permit and confiscated the automatic weapons, police said.

The man, who hasn't been charged with a crime, was taken into custody by 4 a.m. No one was injured and school began on time, officials said.
The FAIL! seems strong with this one - I'm gonna guess multi-million dollar lawsuit and settlement, eventually...

I read the article 3 times. I'm unsure what actually happened other than the cops stole some dudes property. What ever happened to who? what? where? when? and why?

Gov raid & confiscation without cause. Violation of half of the Constitutional amendments.

Constitution? What Constitution? Agents of the state don't need to obey a pesky Constitution anymore. I mean really! It is such an inconvenience, they just can't be bothered.

I'm wondering how many SHTF people have just as much if not more ammo and guns then this guy had. Just because somebody is "prepared" does not make them a potential terrorist as many Libs like to believe. Plus it’s an investment to buy ammo in bulk, wait for the price to go up, and then resale.

The good news is that if this man is legally allowed to own the guns, then he should get them back. The bad news is that many police departments destroy ammo, and 20000 rounds of ammo can be rather expensive.
I would rather die in a shootout than get assassinated in a "gun free zone"
