Default Glock Extended Mags - Philly Area

Looking for a gun shop that sells extended, 33-round, Glock Magazines.

I'll be passing through the Philly area this weekend; I-95 to and from New Jersey.

My rulers in MD have decided that these things are too dangerous to purchase here, but I am looking to purchase while out of state.

    Any convenient stores?

    Thanks.

Aren't they illegal to even own in MD?

Either way, I have never seen them at stores. I got mine online.

As stupid as hell as it sounds I do believe that in Maryland it is illegal to buy and sell the large capacity magazines but if you get them out of state and bring them back then you are good to go. Please coorect me if wrong, it just sounds to stupid to be true.

OP: Sorry, I get mine online as well. May want to try looking up soem stores that are on your route and calling them.

You are correct. MD laws only prohibit in-state receipt/purchase/sales of 20+ round mags.

However, OP, you cannot have anything more than 15 rounds in NJ and prohibition extends to "transport": http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/NoHiCapChemSpray.pdf

While I don't know of a place that sells 33-rd mags in Philly, if you want to purchase, I'd suggest avoiding going via NJ. My parents live in Frederick, MD and I don't have to drive through NJ to get to MD or back to Philly (76/695/95/495/95, i.e NO 295).

Try calling some of the gun shops in Philly (Philadelphia Archery & Gun Club, Firing Line) or DE (Targetmaster).

Gun Dealer Online sells them in Lancaster, Pa - I'd check they have them in stock before hand.

Although I don't know squat about Glocks, there is a shop in Phila that is a big Glock dealer, he sells to all the local cops and security types. He might be able to help you.

    The owner is named Fred.
