Default New 1911! Sig Sauer Scorpion

I just brought it home yesterday, and ran a quick 8 rounds through it. One round failed to chamber, but the magazines are VERY tight and need to be worn a little, I think. Beautiful pistol.

Nice Sig 1911 but may I ask what type finish is that? Like most 1911s it will probably need 200-500 through it before it can shoot JHPs. I thought SIG would be different but I guess not. It's new gun it will take some breaking in it was 1st designed 100 yrs ago. I know I just bought 2 new ones too???? What are we thinking??LOL!!

I'm green with envy!! (see what I did there )

I've been toying with the idea of picking one up myself. Please keep us posted as to how the break in period goes.

    Good luck with her.

same here. I really really want one. however, I want to know how they function, wear, etc. before I go ahead and order it. Do you mind if I ask what you paid for it OTD?

Thumbs up Re: New 1911! Sig Sauer Scorpion

I almost bought one at the last gun show in Oaks but it was too similar to my Kimber Desert Warrior, ended up buying an equinox P220. But the Sig Scropion is one very sharp looking gun! How about some pic's?

I'm jealous ,I have considered getting one of those, but I also want a Dan Wesson let's have a range report after you have had a chance to put 300 to 400 rounds thru it. Nice pistol.
