The 5.7x28 that I want is a smaller, more concealable, and perhaps less plasticy pistol than the existing Five SeveN. Something no bigger than a single-stack HK P7, with a capacity of 10-15.
Well I bet an AR pistol/SBR might undercut the $1000-$1500 price tag of the FiveseveN and PS90 plus as seen here some people want a carbine that uses the same magazines as the pistol.

It's America...more options is always better right?

I agree with you 100% on the P7 sized 5.7mm auto. I was just staring at my P7 earlier tonight thinking to myself how much i wished it was a 12 shot 5.7mm..

I've only shot mine at indoor ranges, however, there are tons of videos of them online firing at ranges as far as 150+ yards.

I finally broke down and got the PS90 a baby brother. I'm not entirely happy with these pictures, but hey...

They are overpriced, which sucks. If they came out with a $600 version 5.7mm weapon and ammo sales would explode.

FN has released an updated mag release and spring to correct what was one of the few real problems with this gun:

    http://fnforum.net/forums/fn-five-se...wtih-pics.html

This is an upgrade i recommend for all Five SeveN users. The old style mag release had a tendency to every once in a blue moon come apart in your hand, rendering the weapon useless. What happened is that the tip of one of the spitzer bullets would get caught on the mag spring as you inserted it into the gun, if the bullet was moved too far forward in the magazine. This fix should correct that issue.

I doubt that FN wants to rock to boat more than they already have with the FsN pistol.
