Help with My Ruger GP100
I am new to the Firearm world but am learning fast. I Recently purchased my first handgun. I chose a Ruger GP100 because I am a big fan of Rugers. Plus they are built like tanks so i know it will last for a long time. I took it to the range a few times and it is pretty damn accurate and really fun to shoot.
My only complaint so far is when I take it apart the metal cylinder that holds the rubber handle to the gun is extremely hard to get out. I have handled GP 100's before and they where much easier to push out. So i was wondering if any of yall knew a way to fix this. It isn't a big problem but id like to be able to take it apart and clean it without the hassle of fighting with that small metal cylinder all that time lol.

Re: Help with My Ruger GP100
I am assuming you are talking about the solid metal pin that is used to pin the grip to the grip frame?
Is it an interference fit between the rubber grip and the pin or is the pin hanging up in the grip frame hole?

The grips you have on your GP 100 have a wood inlay?

Re: Help with My Ruger GP100
if I remember correctly the pin is aluminum. Clean it real good, make sure there is no oxidation on it and give it a light coat of oil . Should take care of it sticking to the frame.
